Is my baby really 3 months old?!

I can't believe I am even typing this, Cameron is 3 months old today! WHAT! As corny as this sounds, they grow SO quickly! We are definitely into a routine now. Cam is fully sleeping in his nursery - bedtime is between 7 and 7:30 every night, eating every 4 hours or so, tummy time three times a day (doesn't like it at all!) and loves riding in the front pack when I walk with Amanda and Sally. Things are like second nature now too. I now know what his cries mean (more loud talking than crying). He is an easy baby that occupies himself and doesn't need a lot of coddling.

He was officially discovered his hands. He stares at them, twists them around, chews on them and talks to them. It is so freaking cute! You can hear him on the baby monitor while he is in his crib just talking. He sits quietly in his car seat while I He also has started to recognize other people's faces besides mom and dad's. He smiles at them and talks to people - I'm a proud mama! One person in particular that Cam recognizes is my Dad. He studies his mustache, smiling big and "scream talks" at grandpa. Such an amazing feeling seeing my dad interacting with my son.

Ryan has been extremely busy with work (the industry is finally picking up!!). He leaves super early in the morning to drive down to Federal Way and fights traffic back up there after a long day. I'm so thankful for him - as soon as he gets home he grabs Cammers. Showers him in kisses and plays with him while I finish making dinner. Despite of working so much, Ry still finds the time to help clean bottles, bathe Cam and even help in the middle of the night! Twice a week, I even get to spend time at the gym! Cameron is so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy and I'm so blessed to have an amazing husband.

Today, Zon and Kate came over to take his 3 month pictures! I will post the photo shoot soon. Until then, here are some pictures of Cameron over the last month.

Getting the hang of our new life

Cameron's second month was much more fun than his first. We have established some what of a routine and we all appear to know what we are doing. I'm still in awe at the way Ryan has been contributing since Cam's arrival. He is in full blown daddy mode and will do anything to keep his little family happy. I believe this is why I have kept my sanity and enjoy being a full time mommy, housewife and a better person.

Cameron began smiling at 4 weeks. Wow - best thing in the world! He recognizes our smiling faces which triggers him to smile. He also has started to notice when Ry comes home from work. Ryan bends down and smiles at Cam and tells him hello - Cam studies his face for a minute then a big huge smile is plastered on his face! ADORABLE!

Cameron is also a big talker. He loves to lay on his changing table and just talk and talk and talk. He is a story tellers : ) I'm enjoying being a stay at home mom so much! I don't want to miss any moment with Cameron. I was supposed to go back to work on 4-30-12 but because of the daycare choice we made (We decided Hutch Kids) they are unable to take him until 6-15-12. Luckily, my bosses let me extend my maternity leave until 6-4-12! I am so thrilled I get a couple more months of bonding time with him. Here are some photos of Cam's second month:

Looking through these pictures makes me realize how time flies. The difference in his appearance from 5 weeks to 7 weeks in tremendous! I can't wait for the months - and years ahead!

Smile! Newborn Pictures

I will let these pictures speak for themselves, but I first wanted to say something about the people who took them. My dear friends Zon Wang and Kate Sortun took the time to come over to our house and spend a couple hours taking Cameron's newborn pictures. They didn't want anything for them and actually thanked us for letting them take the pictures! They turned out so nice and I will cherish them forever! I hope Cameron has the selfless, compassionate, fun loving attitude that both Zon and Kate have. I am so blessed to have them as my friends and I'm glad Cameron gets to grow up with amazing people surrounding him.

Here are a few of the pictures they took (There are over 200 pictures! - don't worry, didn't post them all).

Thank You.
