"QUICK! Grab the baby!!"

Hi everyone!! I hope this blog post finds you all well. Cameron is doing so well! He is discovering many new things from foods to things he is now able to do. Every day he amazes me more and more. Cammers is now eating, apples, pears, peaches, bananas, avocado, mangoes, carrots, peas (pureed and as finger foods), blueberries, plums, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, green beans and more! He now loves to feed himself finger foods and crackers. This week, I decided I would have him try eggs for the first time. I did a ton of research because eggs are a higher allergy risk (nervous!!). We decided to hard boil the egg and just give him the yolk to start with. His face was classic when I put the egg in his mouth. He looked so grossed out! He gagged a little but after a few bites, he wanted more. So far, he has liked everything he has tried. Cameron is a very adventurous and intelligent little guy. He gets into everything but once he finds something interesting, he has a puzzled look on his face and tries to figure out what to do with it (remote control, stereo, buttons, etc). He has been rolling both ways since he was 3 months old but now he has mastered the speed of rolling. I will put him down by the couch and turn my back for 2 seconds then he is almost in the kitchen! Can't leave him alone! Cammers can now roll both ways, sit without assistance, creep, almost crawl and as of day, hold on to something and pull himself into a standing position!! I actually got the second time on video. I was beyond proud of my chunky little man. August was a very busy month for our little family. Ryan has been working like crazy and has even been traveling for work. He went to Oregon, San Francisco and Colorado. I'm so proud that he is working hard and thankful that he is loving his job and coworkers. We took a couple long weekends this month too. In the beginning of August, we went to Chelan with the whole family (my extended family). We had so much fun with everyone - my younger cousins Tony, Alex, Jordan and their friend Trevor LOVED Cameron! They couldn't get enough of him! They played with him, bounced him in the jumperoo, feed him, played in the kiddie pool with him. Cammers had so much fun too - so much fun he took two hour naps both days and went to bed early (and slept through the night) both nights. HEAVEN!! It was amazing to get away with my family for the weekend. Unfortunately many of us couldn't make it this year and they were missed dearly. This past weekend, we took Cameron on his first camping trip! We went to Hood Canal with a group of our friend and their children for the weekend. We stayed in the Scenic Beach Campground and shared two campgrounds (8 adults, 7 children, 4 dogs and a partridge in a pear tree). I was an overprotective mother and put Cameron in a pair of pajamas, a sleep sack and a snow suit that had mittens and a hood. I didn't want him to be cold! He slept through both nights and was beyond ADORABLE in the mornings. He just laid there with big huge eyes. I don't think he could move! Next month is just as busy for us! I can't believe how time is flying - sometimes I wish time would slow down but I'm enjoying every second of it. I have to remind myself during these busy times that Cammers will only be like this once. I kiss on him constantly and sniff his lovely little fuzzy head several times a day. To finish up this post, I have a lot of fun pictures of Cameron! Enjoy the cuteness!!

Thank You.
